The HP xw8200 is designed around Intel's E7525 next generation, high-end performance chipset for Intel Xeon processors which supports dual-processing, an 800 MHz system bus (6.4 GB/sec bandwidth) and a dual channel DDR-2 400MHz ECC memory. New Intel Xeon processors have doubled the cache of previous Xeon systems (1 MB) putting increased power and efficiency behind demanding applications.
